Introduction

These pages are designed to help you understand and integrate the affiliate window Integrated Product System into your web site.

The affiliate window Integrated Product System contains details of products (including images and deepLinks to more information and purchase possibilities), that you can embed into your site as you see fit. The data is made up of those merchants whose programs you are a member of (click to view a list of those merchants).

What is the Integrated Product System?

The Integrated Product System is a web service that allows enabled affiliates to easily add searchable and browseable custom built datasets to their site. You can either build your own SOAP client to access the service (see API for usage details) or use one that we have written for you. To have your account enabled please email support@affiliatewindow.com once you have signed up for your free affiliate account.

Technical Overview

The affiliate window Integrated Product System is brought to you using SOAP (simple object access protocol) which is the latest and most exciting development in the web services arena. We can provide you with a php or perl program that will allow you to use this service, providing your account has been enabled by us to do so.  These programs perform three basic functions:

1. Send requests to the affiliate window product server (eg, search request, browse request, authenticate request)
2. Receive responses from the affiliate window product server
3. Parse and output HTML onto your site
