BOOKING CONDITIONS


Reservation Form: To reserve a Grand Prix Tours Inc.("GPT") vacation, a member of the party making the reservation, who is over 18 years of age and who is authorized by the other members of the party to do so, must, by clicking the "I agree" button, acknowledge the terms and tour conditions listed here.

Payment: At the time of booking, a deposit of 30% of the total package price will be charged to the credit card supplied by the tour participant. The deposit forms part of the final payment for the tour. Unless other arrangements were made by the tour participant, GPT will charge the payment for the balance of the invoice eight weeks before tour begin (twelve weeks for Monaco and the USGP). For reservations made within eight weeks before the tour begin (twelve weeks for Monaco and USGP), full payment will be charged at the time of booking.

Prices: All prices are in US$, per person and are based on double occupancy (two persons sharing a room). Those traveling as singles will be subject to a single supplement fee. Accommodations vary from country to country. If you have any questions, please email or call our office for details. Race and event ticket prices are subject to change without notice.

Insurance: : Insurance is only offered to passengers residing in the USA and only covers the items listed in your invoice. The cost for this valuable service is US$49 for domestic (USA and Canada) and US$199 for overseas tours. The coverage is for trip cancellation and interruption on tours operated in 2003 for items on your invoice and the following: $300 travel delay, $500 baggage and travel documents ($750 for overseas tours), $100 baggage delay, Travel Guard Assistance (plus, for overseas insurance only, $5,000 medical expense and $20,000 emergency assistance). If you do not want this valuable coverage, simply unclick at the insurance box.

Airline Tickets: Due to expenses imposed by the airlines, a service fee will be added to your invoice for all airline tickets issued through GPT. For all domestic airline tickets the service fee is $15.00 per ticket and for all international flights the service fee is $20.00 per ticket. The service fee is non refundable and non transferable. All tickets issued will follow the rules and regulations of the carrier.

Cancellation Policies: Cancellation date is the date when the cancellation is received by GPT. The person who signed the reservation form must make cancellations in writing, by email. Depending on when we receive your written cancellation, the following cancellation charges apply:

Changes in the Reservations: Changes made to confirmed reservations will be charged a $35 fee. Any changes made within 30 days of the date the tour begins, will be charged a $50 change fee. No changes will be allowed within seven days of the date the tour begins. Please note: a cancellation is not covered by the change policy. For cancellations, please see the Cancellation Policies.

Pit Tours: The different sanctioning bodies, not GPT, set the rules for pit tours. GPT and its clients must follow these rules at all times.

Visa: It is the responsibility of all tour members to obtain all necessary visa and passport documents. If you have any questions, please contact GPT or the consulate of the country to be visited.

Race Cancellations: GPT will not be held responsible for race cancellations. If a race is canceled, GPT will attempt to make new travel and hotel arrangements, if available, at clients cost.

Motor Racing and Racing schools: GPT is not responsible for any damage, injury or death to persons or property taking part in race schools or attending motor sports events.

Responsibility: The tour services described on this website, including without limitation transportation, lodging, and sightseeing, are provided by carriers, hoteliers, and other suppliers that are independent contractors and not the agents, employed partners, or joint ventures of GPT. GPT issues tickets, vouchers, race tickets and other travel documents for such services merely as an agent for the companies that furnish such services. Such tickets, vouchers, race tickets, and other travel documents are subject to all terms and conditions of the respective suppliers (some of which may limit or exclude the suppliers liability). GPT is not responsible for typographical and/or printing errors. GPT nor any subagent, shall not be responsible for any damage to property or death or injury to person, resulting from any act or omission of any supplier providing any tour service or any other entity or caused by strike, war, acts of terrorism, weather, quarantine, sickness, government restriction or regulation, or any other cause beyond its reasonable control. Circumstances beyond our control could force us to alter, revise, or cancel any product outlined in this website. If GPT cancels a tour for which you have received final confirmation of deposit, we will attempt to offer an alternate product of similar standards. The tour participant waives all rights that he or she may have against GPT in connection with the foregoing. Terms and conditions are governed by California law and an Orange County venue. Under no circumstances is GPT to be construed as a carrier for safe carriage of the passenger or his or her baggage and belongings.

Travel Documents: Final documents are sent by overnight delivery about two weeks before the tour begins. Delivery charges will be added on your invoice.

Sweepstakes & Prize Winners: At the time of booking, GPT must be made aware if the reservation is to be awarded to a sweepstakes, contest or prize winner. Furthermore, details of the contest must be disclosed to GPT and a copy of all documentation provided to the winner by the sweepstakes company about the prize must be submitted to GPT.

Tour Photos: By participating on a GPT vacation, the client give GPT the right to use all photos taken by GPT for any reason, at any time, without permission of the client.
