Cruise: 7 nights
Maldives Beach: 7 nights (optional)
Depart on your Monarch Airlines flight from Gatwick.
Arrive Malé and transfer to the Atoll Explorer, your
floating home for the next seven nights. NB: Anyone who arrives on earlier
flights may be taken to Kurumba first, before boarding Atoll around lunchtime.
An early departure for the island of Laguna. Time to relax
on the sundeck, go ashore to Laguna to relax on the beach or by the pool, or
enjoy a snorkelling expedition. Evening underwater marine slide show.
Sail to Kuramathi crossing the Ari channel. The islands of
the Ari Atoll gradually appear on the horizon. Afternoon visit to Rasdhoo, a
local fishing village for shopping. This evening enjoy a night fishing
excursion.
Visit Madivaru, a desert island for snorkelling or
windsurfing. Afternoon visit to Ukulash, a local fishing village. In the evening
be entertained by Bodu Beru – local dancing on board the ship.
Snorkel and swim off the beautiful island of Kandholudhoo.
In the evening enjoy a beach barbecue at Gaathufushi, against the flickering
flames of a wood fire.
Breakfast off the tranquil island of Gaathufushi, and take
an excursion to its coral reef where you will have the opportunity to snorkel,
often with stingrays or just relax on the beach. This evening the captain
officially ‘hosts’ dinner.
In the afternoon, return across the Ari Channel to Kurumba
and then on to the main island of Malé, the capital, for shopping and
sightseeing. A live band will play on board the ship for the evening necessary
precautions.
Disembark the Atoll Explorer for your Monarch Airlines
flight arriving Gatwick later the same day or extend your stay in the Maldives
on the beautiful first class resort of Laguna Maldives for seven nights on a
room and breakfast basis.

Important Note: The Atoll Explorer is subject to a minimum number of passengers.
Important Notes:
1. Though much of the time is spent cruising through the protected waters of the
atolls, crossings can occasionally be a little rough between the atolls.
Anyone prone to sea sickness should take the necessary precautions.
2. Only children of 12 years or more can be accepted on the cruise. We recommend
all passengers can swim.
3. The Atoll Explorer is not suitable for anyone who may have a mobility
problem.
4. Smoking is not permitted in cabins, passageways, on the top deck and the
watersports area. Smoking is permitted in the bar and Aft deck.
5. Safety is always the prime consideration. If due to prevailing weather
conditions a change of cruise schedule is required then such a decision is at
the sole discretion of the captain and no refund can be given if as a result
islands are omitted or substituted during the cruise.
6. The Atoll Explorer may be combined with any island in
the Maldives.
N.B Your week stay on a resort island may be taken before or after your cruise.
Alternatively extend your stay with a second week aboard Atoll Explorer.
A small comfortable ship with a relaxed, very informal atmosphere on board and
is under the expert Universal Group Management. There is no dressing up for
smart dinners or entertainment. Dress code is shorts and swimwear during the day
and casual dress in the evenings both on board and on the islands.
Facilities - One restaurant usually serving international style buffets with
indoor and open-air dining areas, jacuzzi, small gift shop, bar, two sun decks
and indoor games. Eurodivers dive school which arranges snorkelling,
windsurfing. Diving packages can be prebooked before you go.
Accommodation - Just 20 cabins which are small, simply furnished and have either
a double bed or two single beds. All are outside cabins with a picture window
and have airconditioning, telephone, shower and limited wardrobe space.
Category C cabins - as above located on either upper or lower deck.
Category B cabins - as above on upper deck with small balcony and double bed.
Category A cabins - as above but slightly larger and on upper deck with double
bed and balcony overlooking the stern.
NB: cabin sizes vary.
Your cruise includes:
• All meals: Full breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.
• All drinks: Beer, house spirits and wine, soft drinks (except champagne) by
the glass.
• Watersports: Snorkelling and windsurfing subject to availability.
• Unlimited tea and coffee.
• Indoor games.
NB: Food and beverages consumed on resort islands are not included in the All
Inclusive package.
