This spectacular over-the-water restaurant
overlooks the west beach, so guests can watch the sun set over
the ocean. A variety of seating includes the sea-view deck,
chef 's table, sushi counter, laid-back sunken pods or
romantic, covered deck seating. On the menu, superb fish and
seafood, fresh out of the Indian Ocean, are transformed into
Indian-Japanese tapas, or sushi and sashimi prepared in front

The main restaurant, on the sheltered
eastern side of the island, , set in thatched pavilions over
the water. Outside tables run along the decking beside the
ocean. The service is immaculate and the cuisine world-class,
while the ambience is low-key, tropical and breezy.
Floor-to-ceiling glass screens reveal the show kitchen and
walk-in wine cellar to diners seated in air-conditioned
comfort. An impressive à la carte menu fuses flavours from
the Far East, Middle East and Mediterranean into a light,
contemporary cuisine – a perfect match for the surroundings. |

Ocean Villa Sitting over
the pale blue waters of the lagoon, connected to the island by
walkways. The same size as the Beach Villas, but with outdoor covered
verandas on stilts (39 sq.m ) and split level decks of 31 sq.m.
Netting suspended from the sides makes for perfect breezy sunbathing
over water.
Beach Villa (79 sq.m)
With views directly from the double bed onto the private stretch of
beach. Decor is sleek with clean lines, a perfect foil for the
tropical wood and thatch exteriors. A two-sided shaded veranda (26sq m
) overlooks the beach, with outside table, seating area and sun bed.
Grand Ocean Villa with Pool Set
on stilts above the lagoon, the Grand Ocean Villas are surrounded by
33m2 of decking for covered outdoor dining and seating, with another
51m2 uncovered, including suspended sunbathing nets over water,
platforms for sun beds and 20m2 private pool.
Grand Beach Villa Occupying
their own sections of coast, Grand Beach Villas are hidden in tropical
foliage with private access to the ocean. 157m2 interiors include two
large bedrooms and a sitting area, looking directly over the water,
and a bathroom with a large tub for two. Shady verandas provide a
generous seating and dining area, beyond which is a private beach,
25m2 pool and canopied day bed.

Spa name: The Spa
Description: Set apart
from the rest of the resort and insulated from all noise and bustle,
the spa aims above all for an atmosphere of calm and tranquility.
Built around a thatched reception area with views over the ocean, the
buildings alone cover 1311sq.m. The signature indoor/outdoor heat
experiences are unique to One&Only: Crystal Steam Rooms, Stone
Saunas, Lifestyle Showers, hot pools with shoulder massage, air beds
and Ice Fountains. Eight single treatment suites are separately placed
in pavilions, while two double treatment suites occupy platforms over
the ocean and offer private steam showers and soaking tubs. Spa dining
can be privately catered. ESPA brings to One&Only healing
traditions from many areas of the world – from Thai massage to
European aromatherapy – with the emphasis on the Ayurvedic methods
of the Sub-Continent. ESPA treatments are custom-designed for each
guest's specific needs. All treatments begin with a gentle foot bath
including marma point (pressure point) massage. Following treatments,
men and women can relax in separate areas, with scented gardens and
shade areas, perfect for reading or sleeping. Additional facilities
include a hair, makeup and nails salon, and a fitness centre with
cardio and resistance equipment. The spa has a Chi Pavilion set over
the ocean for yoga and pilates. Tai Chi is also on offer.
