The island of Oahu is consider by many to be Hawaii due to the images portrayed in films and television programs.

The Bus is a great way to get around the Hawaiian Island of Oahu without driving. By taking the bus you can experience the great views
along Hawaii's roads, without having to worry about the other or find parking spaces.
The
fare is approx $2.50 (increases every yeart increased 25 cents this summer) and correct change is
required. If you need to change buses, request a transfer upon boarding that
you can use as the fare on the next bus. If you plan to take buses frequently,
you might consider the four-day visitor pass. It allows unlimited rides for
$25.00.
They are sold at ABC Stores throughout Honolulu.
Most bus stops have a sign that lists the stops on the route.
Express buses do not stop at all locations.
Express routes and frequency of service are generally shown on a spinning notice board.
Drivers will help you find the correct stop if you let them know where you want to go.
The buses have recorded announcements of major streets and upcoming stops
to guide you to your destination.
Pull the cord that runs along either side of the bus to signal that
you want the next stop.
