Day 1
Fly from Heathrow with Qantas to Melbourne.
Day 3
Arrive Melbourne and transfer to the Stamford Plaza for a
three night stay. Enjoy some sightseeing in the city at your own arrangements.
This evening enjoy dinner on board Melbourne’s famous Colonial Tramcar
Restaurant (D).
Day 4
See the sights of Melbourne including Royal Botanic Gardens,
St Paul’s Cathedral, Parliament House and the Shrine of Remembrance. This
afternoon travel to Philip Island where you will visit the Koala Conservation
Centre. Observe the nightly ritual of the world famous Fairy Penguin Parade
before returning to Melbourne late evening (B).
Day 5
Depart the city over the Westgate Bridge and travel through
Geelong to Torquay and the famous Bells Beach. As you join the Great Ocean Road,
marvel at the golden sandy beaches, sheer cliffs and amazing rock formations.
Pass through the seaside towns of Anglesea and Lorne before stopping for lunch
at Apollo Bay (own expense). Travel inland through the inspiring Otway Ranges,
before returning to the coastline to visit the Twelve Apostles, London Bridge
and Loch Ard Gorge. Visit Port Campbell for afternoon tea (own expense), before
returning to Melbourne (B).
Day 6
This morning transfer to Melbourne airport for your flight
to Alice Springs. On arrival enjoy a tour of this outback town, including a
visit to the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Overnight at Alice Springs Resort.
Day 7
New Zealand or Round the World Itinerary. Kuoni Australia

transfer to the Stamford Plaza for a three night stay. Enjoy some sightseeing in

plains to the Olgas. Take a walk to the Valley of the Winds, view the sunset and

Day 8
Rise early to view Uluru at sunrise. The fit and energetic
may choose to climb to the summit. Tour the caves at the base of Uluru and hear
the Aboriginal dreamtime legends explained. Afternoon at leisure to enjoy the
resort facilities. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the sunset over Uluru
(B).
Day 9
Morning at leisure before your transfer to Ayers Rock
airport for a flight to the tropical city of Cairns. Overnight at the Oasis
Resort for three nights (B).
Day 10
This morning board the Great Adventures high speed Catamaran
to the Outer Barrier Reef. There is time for swimming, snorkelling, scuba diving
(at extra cost locally) or coral viewing by semisubmersible. Enjoy a buffet
lunch on board the Great Adventures pontoon (B,L).
Day 11
Board the famous Kuranda Train and travel through the
tablelands to the picturesque township of Kuranda. Explore the market or take
other optional tours before returning via Skyrail, across the rainforest to be
entertained at the internationally renowned Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park
(B).
Day 12
Transfer to Cairns airport for your flight to Sydney.
Afternoon at leisure to explore Australia’s ‘Grand City on the Harbour’.
Overnight at the Crowne Plaza Darling Harbour for three nights (B).
Day 13
Tour the sights of Sydney and the historic Rocks District,
pass the Opera House and Botanic Garden to visit Mrs Macquarie’s Chair, travel
through King’s Cross to Bondi Beach. Return to the city for a relaxing harbour
cruise with lunch, this afternoon travel across Sydney Harbour Bridge to Manly
before returning to the city (B,L).
Day 14
Pass over the Anzac Bridge and through the Hawkesbury
District on your way to the Blue Mountains. Stop at Featherdale Wildlife Park to
see koalas and kangaroos, before continuing to Govetts Leap lookout for a photo
opportunity. Visit the quaint village of Leura for lunch (own expense), and then
follow the Cliff Drive with views over Jamison Valley, Echo Point and the Three
Sisters. Take a ride on the world’s steepest railway – Scenic Railway, the
Skyway Cable Car or the new Sceniscender Cable Car (rides at own expense).
Depart Scenic Skyway for a quick photo stop at Narrowneck Lookout before
returning to the city via Sydney’s Olympic site (B).
Day 15
Transfer to Sydney airport for your Qantas flight to
Heathrow arriving the next day. Alternatively you may choose to extend your stay
in Sydney or in one of the many stopover destinations available, subject only to
flight schedules (B).
FIJI EXTENSION

Day 15
Fly to Fiji with Qantas. Transfer to the superior first
class Sheraton Royal Denarau Resort Gardenview room (GDN) for four nights or
more.
Day 16 to Day 18
A chance to explore the islands of Fiji and relax, during
your stay at the beachfront Sheraton Denarau Resort. The friendly Fijians
together with the scenery and beaches make Fiji the perfect stopover retreat.
Day 19
Fly to Heathrow via Los Angeles with Air Pacific and British
Airways, arriving the next day. NB: Due to varying flight schedules an exact
four night extension may not be possible.
SINGAPORE EXTENSION

Fly Qantas to Singapore and transfer to the first class Pan
Pacific hotel (DLX) for three nights or more.
Day 16 to Day 17
Leap lookout for a photo opportunity. Visit the quaint
village of Leura for lunch (own expense), and then follow the Cliff Drive with
views over Jamison Valley, Echo Point and the Three Sisters. Take a ride on the
world’s steepest railway – Scenic Railway, the Skyway Two full days to
explore the bustling city of Singapore, with the Pan Pacific’s superb location
offering the perfect base. Facilities include a fitness centre, tennis court and
an outdoor swimming pool. Whether discovering rural Singapore on a Round Island
excursion, having dinner on board a Chinese junk or shopping in one of the many
malls, Singapore will offer you a fascinating experience.
Day 18
Fly to Heathrow with Qantas arriving early the next day.
